Face-to-Face Guitar Lessons
Pros
Your coach can closely observe your hand position, posture and technique.
Some learners find it easier to connect and communicate in person.
Playing together can feel more natural and immediate.
There are fewer distractions than you may have at home.
Your coach can physically demonstrate adjustments from different angles.
Cons
You need to allow time and money for travelling.
Lesson times may be less flexible.
Bad weather, traffic or mobility difficulties can disrupt lessons.
You are limited to coaches/teachers within travelling distance.
Playing in front of someone in person can initially feel intimidating.
Online Guitar Lessons
Pros
Learn comfortably from your own home.
No travelling,
Lessons can be videod for future use
Lessons can often fit more easily around your lifestyle.
You can choose the right coach regardless of location.
Learning in your normal practice space makes it easier to continue afterwards.
Cons
You need a reliable internet connection and suitable device.
Setting up the camera and sound may take a little practice.
Your coach cannot physically reposition your fingers or posture.
Playing together live can be difficult because of internet delay.
Home interruptions may occasionally affect your concentration.
Which Is Best?
There is no single right answer. Face-to-face lessons offer personal, hands-on support, while online lessons provide comfort, convenience and flexibility.

Having started my guitar journey some years ago via "You Tube" videos, sourced from online guitar tutors. I came to the conclusion that I was not progressing as much as I would have liked, and was basically stuck with no-where to go, I really needed individual instruction.
